Rick Perez is a native of Fresno, California. He moved to Texas in 1990 where he graduated from Kaufman High School. After graduating from high school, he attended Trinity Valley Community College.

Rick served in the United States Army from 1993 through 2001 and attained the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was stationed at Fort Jackson in South Carolina and Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri.

Rick has been in the security industry since 1999 with Dallas Security Systems (DSS) and Tyco with the majority of that time with DSS. He has served as an installer, service technician, Project Manager, Installation Manager, and Security Consultant. He was promoted to Sales Manager with DSS in May of 2023.

Rick is a certified by a number of security industry manufacturers including DSX, AMAG and Pelco to name a few. Some of the major security projects that Rick managed include NEC in Irving, The Shops @ Legacy in Plano and Lakepoint Church in Rockwall the Epic Towers in downtown Dallas and Hillwood.

Rick and his family reside in Royse City, Texas.
