We successfully added an NVR to the Star4live account and checked the live feed from the mobile device to ensure everything was online. Additionally, we updated the NVR to the latest firmware.

Dallas Security Systems installed a Qolsys panel with a touch screen keypad, five wireless door contacts, two wireless motion detectors in each corner of the front of the building, and two wireless glass breaks to cover the entire storefronts windows. At the end of the service, we trained the customer on the system via keypad and Alarm.com app and tested the system to make sure it worked properly.

We ran a wire from the alarm panel, PIR, and sounder power supplies and used the existing transformer for the alarm panel. Finally, we used 24vac transformers and labels inside the rack of the UPS designated for alarm equipment.

Upon arrival at the site, it was discovered that two zones were experiencing issues. The front double door was causing problems and resulted in a broken 1106w base, which was replaced along with the cover and battery. The oil bay pedestrian door was also facing problems due to a missing magnet, which was replaced along with the transmitter battery. Upon inspecting zone 24, the battery was found to be at 2.90, and it was replaced. Finally, zone 43 was inspected, and the battery was found to be at 2.8vdc, which was replaced.

DSS removed old panels and wired, installed new DMP XR550 panels and cell cards. Sent signals and verified communication and user access.

DSS ordered a new Viking E30IP EWP (intercom with enhanced weather protection) to replace old intercom that stopped working. Installed phone and connected to server, updated and tested unit.
