Customer contacted us to upgrade and replace old DVR with a Vitek DVR. We installed a Vitek DVR and verified all ten cameras were up and recording on the new DVR. We then setup the DVR in the cloud account and had the customer share the system with another user, verifying that both apps were working properly.

Customer contacted us to install a 180-degree view camera. We successfully ran a Cat6 cable from the first floor to second floor, programmed camera, verified motion recording and tagged camera cable. We contacted DW to do a manual activation for camera license and activated licensing.

Customer had us come out to repair a strike that keeps burning out latch assemblies. We successfully resolved the issue by verifying that the strike was receiving the correct amperage at 0.25 mA and the proper DC voltage at 24.7 VDC. We installed a new HES 9600 strike and placed a warranty sticker on the strike. At the end of the visit, we confirmed with our client that the strike operated appropriately.

We successfully added an NVR to the Star4live account and checked the live feed from the mobile device to ensure everything was online. Additionally, we updated the NVR to the latest firmware.

Dallas Security Systems installed a Qolsys panel with a touch screen keypad, five wireless door contacts, two wireless motion detectors in each corner of the front of the building, and two wireless glass breaks to cover the entire storefronts windows. At the end of the service, we trained the customer on the system via keypad and Alarm.com app and tested the system to make sure it worked properly.

The customer requested that Dallas Security Systems move burglary system to UPS. We ran a wire from the alarm panel, PIR, and sounder power supplies and used the existing transformer for the alarm panel. Finally, we used 24vac transformers and labels inside the rack of the UPS designated for alarm equipment.

Upon arrival at the site, it was discovered that two zones were experiencing issues with their entrance doors. The front double door was causing problems and resulted in a broken 1106w base, which was replaced along with the cover and battery. The oil bay pedestrian door was also facing problems due to a missing magnet, which was replaced along with the transmitter battery. Upon inspecting zone 24, the battery was found to be at 2.90, and it was replaced. Finally, zone 43 was inspected, and the battery was found to be at 2.8vdc, which was replaced.

DSS ordered a new Viking E30IP EWP (intercom with enhanced weather protection) to replace old intercom that stopped working. Installed phone and connected to server, updated and tested unit.
