While working for DSS for over 5 years, I have learned how to troubleshoot systems, program burglar alarm systems, access control systems, IP cameras, and a variety of other systems. I really enjoy my job, the company, and the people I work with at Dallas Security every day.

Customer contacted us to install a DMP alarm panel for panic button monitoring. The panic buttons will be programmed, tested, and deployed to appropriate locations. At the end of the job, we informed the customer that once a button has been activated the police will be dispatched and the panel was working properly and ready for use.

Customer contacted DSS to reinstall two motion detectors. We remounted two Bosch 360-degree motion detectors and tested them to make sure they functioned properly.

Client called in needing glass break detectors, so we installed sixteen wireless glass breaks, four wireless sirens and one repeater to system. All system checks are good, communications and devices are communicating with panel.

DSS was contacted to fix a couple of photo beams that were knocked off. We installed two photo beam transmitters and completed a full system test for building.

The customer requested that all (44) cameras be cleaned and adjusted. Dallas Security Systems, Inc. successfully cleaned and adjusted the cameras we could access with a 24ft extension ladder. We also replaced some old cameras with new ones. At the end we tested all cameras to make sure that they were functioning properly and adjusted to view areas that the customers requested.

Resident contacted us because their glass break was giving them false alarms and needed to be repaired. We replaced the battery and repositioned the device from bathroom ceiling to behind the bathroom window curtains.

Customer contacted us because they could not connect to the DMP app on their phone. We successfully updated the panel firmware on the customer's phone (iOS) and their virtual keypad app. We had to go to a setting in “Login Security” called “Save User Code” that was essentially telling his app to login with a code that he had updated causing a connection timeout when trying to arm. We verified with the customer that the app functionality and user codes were appropriately reflected on both app as well as keypad. While on site the customer also requested us to replace the keypad in the kitchen because although the volume setting was on maximum, the keypad would not chime when an entry delay was initiated.

Customer contacted us to replace carbon monoxide reader. Dallas Security Systems replaced the CO2 detector on the first floor next to the stairs. While on site, we updated the panel firmware and performed all necessary system tests.
